Originally established in the mid eighties by Frank & Betty Sweeney, Franco’s Restaurant offers a top quality dining experience managed by the next generation of the Sweeney family.

Dollakis is a beautiful family run Greek restaurant in the heart of Enniskillen. Food made with love & skill and served in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Open Wednesday to Saturday booking is highly advisable to avoid disappointment.
Kamal Mahal in Water Street is one of the finest Indian restaurants in Northern Ireland. Open from 4pm every day except Mondays they also offer a take away service so that you can bring the tastes of Asia back to Cherrymount Cottage.
Coffee, Breakfast or Lunch:
Enniskillen is blessed with some great coffee houses and unique little cafes to enjoy anything from a unique breakfast made with amazing local produce to a mid morning coffee and croissant or a filling and tasty lunch. Here aree just a few of our favourites.
The Toastery offers a great selection of regular and plant based coffee. Overnight oats, salads and their signature sourdough toasties like you’ve never tasted before. All served up in comfortable and very on-trend surroundings. Definitely worth a visit!
From a breakfast fry that is simply on another level, to the most amazing roast sandwiches, bakes, pies and daily lunch offerings. The only problem you will have is leaving enough room for something sweet – because the selection of cakes and pastries are simply not to be missed
Gastro Pubs:
For a more laid-back yet flavour-packed experience, explore Enniskillen’s gastro pubs. These establishments combine the best of traditional pub fare with a modern twist. They all boast diverse and different menus and an extensive drinks selections served in relaxed atmosphere.
The TapHouse is Enniskillen’s newest gastro-pub, providing a warm and inviting drinking and dining experience which will surely have you coming back time and time again. Dale and his team have taken the utmost care with every detail and we hope you love it as much as we do.
The Crowes Nest in Enniskillen is located on the high street. It is one of the oldest bars in Enniskillen town. Renowned for their hearty pub grub, great music and entertainment, the Crowes is the place to be in Enniskillen.
Located on Enniskillen’s busy Belmore Street, this family run business has been established for over 40 years. Whether you’re after a snack, a formal evening dinner, or even some light refreshments at the bar, the Horseshoe and their staff can cater for all your needs.
The Firehouse Bar & Grill is one known by locals and visitors as one of Enniskillen’s best eateries. Boasting a menu full of flavours and great choice, cooked in their stone baked pizza oven and famous bertha oven, perfect for grilled steaks, burgers and more!
Takeaways:
Sometimes, you just crave the comfort of a delicious takeaway. These local favourites are all within a five minute walk of the house so it’s easy to bring their culinary delights right to your doorstep and enjoy a cosy night in in the comfort of Cherrymount Cottage.
Situated beside Rooney’s Eurospar just a five minute stroll from the cottage is Michaels Diner. Serving up the most amazing traditional Fish and Chips as well as southern fried chicken, burgers and a range of delicious chip-shop favourites. With a sit-in option available Michael’s Diner is also the go-to place for a slap-up Ulster Fry !
One of the town’s favourite Chinese Takeaways the Hot Wok offers an extensive Chinese and Malayan menu and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the cottage. Of course if a cosy night in is what you’re after why not just call them and avail of their delivery service!
Only a few hundred metres from Cherrymount Cottage, Angie’s has been inspired by owner Nicky’s 22 years of travelling around North America.
He is proud to bring you thin, crispy New Haven style pizzas, baked in a wood fired oven and is one of the first to bring the famous Canadian Poutine to Ireland. A sit in option is also available which is lucky because when you see inside you won’t want to leave.
Self Catering
Of course eating out is a nice treat and a great experience to add to you holiday, but Cherrymount Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a bright and airy dining area so why not make the most of the facilities and indulge in some self catering.
Enniskillen is blessed with a great variety of artisan food producers, bakeries, butchers and delicatessens as well as all of the the leading supermarkets.
For convenience though, you won’t get much more accessible than the family owned Rooney’s Eurospar which is just a few minutes stroll from the house along the Cornagrade Road. If you are driving then there’s ample car parking onsite and the next door Rooney’s Off Licence will be able to sort you out with a bottle of wine or beer to accompany your culinary creations.
With an in-house butchery department and extensive bakery ranges, all of your daily essentials can be purchased at Rooney’s. Their in-house hot food bar also does a great trade in hearty breakfast and lunches to-go.
