The Boatyard Distillery is situated on the banks of Lower Lough Erne. Boatyard is Fermanagh’s first legal distillery since 1890. Their story began with a dream in 2013 when our founder, Joe McGirr, imagined returning home to his native Enniskillen. Joe grew up on a nearby dairy farm, and the McGirr family are always a part of what Boatyard does. The distillery takes its name from the disused Boatyard that it’s built on. It makes us unique as a distillery, as visitors can arrive just as easily by boat as they can by car.
Visit Boatyard to see how they produce the finest spirits using the highest quality botanicals and ingredients. Come and meet the team, the stills and discover the secret behind ‘Érainn’ their famous Copper still.

Under the vibrant green hills of Fermanagh lies a labyrinth of caves, sinkholes and subterranean rivers. Amongst them is the Marble Arch Caves which is the most active river cave in Ireland and the UK.

On a guided cave tour carefully constructed paths enable you to comfortably traverse the Marble Arch Caves whilst discrete lighting displays the cave features and delicate cave formations to their optimum. The enthusiastic guides will lead you through awe-inspiring passages and further enhance your experience by interpreting the stories of this wonderous show cave.

Pollnagollum Cave in Belmore Forest is part of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark. Its name is Irish for ‘Hole of the doves’. The exterior of Pollnagollum Cave was used to film Brotherhood Without Banner’s (Beric Dondarrion’s) hideout aka Hollow Hill  hideout in Season 3.

A viewing platform at Pollnagollum Cave provides a stunning vantage point to see the impressive cave entrance which is fed by a beautifully cascading waterfall toppling down a 12m limestone cliff to disappear into the depths of darkness. The stream flows underground for approximately 1 mile / 1.5km before resurfacing along the North bank of the Aghanaglack River.
